Take action
Who are we?

Inform, defend and support the unemployed in Gaspésie and the Magdalen Islands as well as political representation for the improvement of their rights.
The Chandler-based Mouvement Action Chômage (MAC) Pabok is a non-profit organization launched in 1989 by Gaetan Cousineau, after he himself had problems with employment insurance. It has received great support from the community, as the Gaspé economy depends heavily on seasonal industry.
